The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust approached us to help them brand a significant new service that they will be offering in 2017: Patient At Home.

The premiss behind the service being that a large proportion of non-emergency patients would be better off in their own homes, being cared for by specialist nursing staff. Essentially freeing up bed space for critical care and allowing patients to be more comfortable and in many cases offering a level of dignity that can’t be achieved in an open ward environment.

Their brief to FTD was to create a strong visual brand for the service that could be used everywhere. We decided upon a typographical approach to the brief that also included the universally accepted image of a ‘home’.
